FINAL DRILLING OF HELICOPTER STORAGE RAILS
CUSTOMER NEED: The customer was utilizing an older tape-driven drilling machine that was damaged by a recent hurricane. Customer requested that the machine be repaired and upgraded to include programmable logic control (PLC) to provide more efficient operation.
CLIMAX SOLUTION: Working with the existing machine base structure, Climax re-conditioned the machine and added the requested programmable logic control functions. The resulting machine will provide enhanced operation and allow much faster and more precise drilling of the helicopter trolley storage rails.
