| FIRST PLACE MIDWEST SERVICE CENTER VIEWS: 26,853, ENGAGEMENT: 1,559 Congratulations to Stuart Fietz and Midwest Service Center, based in Hobart, Indiana, USA, for using a CLIMAX LM6200 linear/gantry mill to machine the outer casing for a steam turbine unit. | HONORABLE MENTION SOUCY INDUSTRIEL VIEWS: 17,453, ENGAGEMENT: 1,394 Congratulations to Steve Levasseur and Soucy Industriel of Quebec, Canada, for using the CLIMAX CM6200 Circular Mill to remachine the bearing face on this mining shovel carbody repair project. VIEWS: 16,060, ENGAGEMENT:1,546 Congratulations to James Wheatley and Atlas Machine & Supply out of Tennessee, USA, for using the CLIMAX PL4000 portable lathe. James Wheatley took this pic of a PL4000 in a Cement Plant in Central TN. A ball mill had suffered severe damage to the bearing journals. | HONORABLE MENTION ADVANCED PORTABLE MACHINING VIEWS: 15,250, ENGAGEMENT: 1,151 Congratulations to Tyson Morrie and Advanced Portable Machining, based in Calmar, Alberta, Canada. 192″ support ring inside of vessel 5′ down. The ring was overlayed with stainless steel and needed to be machined down to specification. Foot supports were built as the CLIMAX CM6200 circular mill was past the max clamping distance. Pro Line Machining used a CLIMAX FF8200 flange facer with a milling head to mill a Caterpillar 6030 front shovel slew-bearing surface back to specification.
