| CAT 6030 SHOVEL REBUILD
Using a hydraulic-driven CLIMAX BB5000 Line Boring Machine and an electric-driven BB5000, we were able to complete the rebuild of a 6030 CAT hydraulic shovel boom and stick. Bores ranged from 7 to 16 inches (152.4 to 406.4 mm) in diameter and up to 12 inches (304.8 mm) deep. These machines made it possible to complete in a timely manner. Blake Bullock |

| MACHINING FLANGES ON A FEEDWATER HEATER
Machining 36-inch (914.4 mm) bronze flanges, on a new feedwater heater, before installation at an east coast nuclear power station. Flanges were out of the flatness tolerance provided by the utility engineers. United Services Group was called and successfully machined (4) 36-inch flanges, using a CLIMAX FF5300 flange Facer, back within tolerance within the given timeline by the utility. Scott Gillman |
