26 May PORTLAND BUSINESS JOURNAL AWARDS MIKE LOVE “CFO OF THE YEAR”
We are proud to announce that Mike Love won the CFO of the Year award from the Portland Business Journal, one of the Portland areas most prominent and respected business publications. The Journal commented on Mike’s pivotal leadership role in:
– Expanding the company globally
– Restructuring the organization
– Streamlining operations
– Acquisition of H&S Tool
– And several other outstanding accomplishments
In the interview for the publication and in his award acceptance speech, Mike said, “We’re reinventing ourselves as a company. This our 50th year and you can’t be the same company forever. We’re No.1. We’ve got great products, but there are too many stories about people who got complacent with their success. This is by far the busiest and most aggressive year since I’ve been here.” Mike also emphasized what a great team of people we have in his finance, accounting and IT organization and throughout the whole company world-wide.
